Not only do we have stories of our past exploits but also some of the best stories come from others that just bear repeating. Two people in my life could stretch out a story of shear genius, better than my father and my older brother. Al senior and Al junior. My dad would usually start with “wellll let me tell ya a story” followed by edge of seat drama, laughter and side ache trauma. My brother had more of a major league pitcher windup approach, sip of beer, facial contractions, eloquent dramatic punctuations, and final pause before the ending. Certain people in our lives we just liked to listen to them talk and talk. I had the privilege of recording some wit from my dad but missed out in capturing my brother.
